LIBRARY MEDIA CENTRE

To acquaint our students and educators with a digital world of knowledge, our library media centre has all-in-one PC's with high speed Wi-Fi hotspots.

Our school library, a treasure trove of knowledge, has state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide students a place to learn, think and share ideas.

Acknowledging the fact that a library is a storehouse of knowledge, the school has provided students with a library architecture that is inspirational and conducive to learning, improved communication and interaction.

DIGITAL CLASSROOMS

SPS has aesthetically designed Digital Classrooms featuring information, resources and professional development opportunities that helps in understanding, planning and developing environments and experiences for students learning in digitally-rich contexts.

SPS provides a classroom environment that fosters excellence and motivates students towards better performance. The emphasis is on making every classroom session interesting and interactive.

SCIENCE LABS

At SPS, we believe Nobel laureates are not created in huge research facilities, but in the humble school labs. Our labs bring learning to life as students get to explore experiment and form their own conclusions. We make sure that our students are provided with all facilities required for a practical experience – in Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs.

A hub of modern facilities and equipment, SPS labs play a key role in educational effectiveness of the curriculum in attaining effective, cognitive and practical goals.

MATHEMATICS LAB

Background mathematics teaching in today's school is textbook dominated, concerned primarily with the manipulation of symbols, facts, theorems and, all too often, largely removed from the real world of the child. The learning styles of the children are not the same universally. Some learn by textbook and blackboard method where as many don't. This turns children disinterested and even phobic towards learning especially, mathematics.

At SPS, the mathematics laboratory is activity-centered; the child is placed in problem solving situation and through self exploration and discovery, he or she provides a solution based on his or her experience, needs, and interests.

The laboratory approach allows pupils to set up mathematical experiments for the purpose of discovering some mathematical principle, pattern, or process.

COMPUTER LAB

Information technology has become integral to every walk of life. With fully-equipped computer lab, we expose students early to computer education. We have qualified teachers for assisting students to search for information, create multimedia presentations, execute project work and creatively present the content that they have gathered after comprehensive search from multiple sources.

The IT teachers work hard with the students to sharpen their skills so that they can compete with students from different parts of country.

YOGA HALL

Yoga contributes to not merely the physical development of the child but have a positive impact on psychosocial and mental development as well. Yoga practice contributes to the overall development of the child and various studies have shown that it contributes to flexibility and muscular fitness and also corrects postural defects among school children.

At SPS, we have a team of Yoga experts who train the students various Yogic Asana and techniques.

SPORTS

We believe that playing is essential for brain development, building confidence and in general help children conquer fear. The School will equally emphasize on class room teaching along with unique co-curricular activities and physical education as active play promotes children's health and increases creativity enabling problem solving and decision making. The school campus accommodates hitherto unprecedented sports infrastructure, quintessential in this region with an aim to teach its students the importance of sports as a physical activity.
